Currently, there is a parcel of land that has been owned by the Episcopal Diocese of California since 2002. It is currently vacant and undeveloped.
Eden Housing, in partnership with the Episcopal Diocese of California and the Episcopal Impact Fund, are planning to propose a mixed-use, mixed-income community located at the intersection of Lone Tree Way and O'Hara Avenue in Brentwood, California. to the City Brentwood. This request would require to REZONE an area that has already been included in the Brentwood General Plan for a Single Family development to contain 25 low density single family homes which could be up to 400% increase in the approved occupancy for this area.
Update - The Eden Housing project team filed a conceptual Pre-Application with the City of Brentwood in August 2021. They are soliciting community feedback on the proposed design with a goal of submitting a formal application to the Planning Department in Spring 2022.
